Looking for a dog sitter?

We completely understand just how nerve-wracking it can be when it comes to finding a trusted person to watch your pug when you're out of town.

Below are dog-sitters, listed alphabetically by city, that hard-working Church of Pug volunteers use for their own dogs or that have opened their homes to foster for Church of Pug. We're happy to pass along these great resources but also putting the disclaimer out there that any business conducted through this list is at your own risk and Church of Pug cannot be held liable. 🙂

Lori K

"Hi! My name is Lori and I live with my Pugs Teddy and Bruce in an apartment in Old Bellevue, where dogs are definitely allowed on the furniture! My life revolves around my dogs, so any dog that stays with us will get lots of attention. We live next door to a small park and a block away from Downtown Bellevue Park, where we spend our evenings and lots of time on the weekends. I work from home so I can be with your furbaby 100% of the time. Puppies up to senior dogs welcome, I will make sure they are happy! Teddy and Bruce get along with everyone. Teddy takes a lot of naps. He's a very mellow pug and very friendly. Bruce is very playful and loves toys and playing with other dogs."

From Seaview Pet Sitter: "We moved to Edmonds in 2019 and fell in love with this quaint little town. We recently purchased a home in the Seaview neighborhood with a large fenced in backyard that's absolutely perfect for pugs to run and play.

We adore fur animals and now have our own 2 pug rescues from Church of Pug. We understand how expensive and difficult it can be to find a reliable pet sitter. We offer discounts to Church of Pug alums."

Stacy D with Rover

About Stacy: "I love fostering pugs as well as caring for there’s small dogs. I don’t always have a foster living with me, but when I do I only have one at a time. I work full time from home so can give your pup the time, care and attention it deserves while you're away. I prefer caring for small dogs @ 20 pounds or less (so I can carry up/down stairs if necessary). I am not able to provide long walks for your pup, but with your permission, can take them to a nearby off leash dog park so they can get some exercise. I live in a condo with surrounding grassy and wooded areas for potty breaks, which I provide about every 3-4 hours (first one at 7am, last one at 10pm). I also have a balcony where your pup can hang out, weather permitting."

From Katharine: "Hi! I'm Katharine and I have 16+ years surgical vet tech experience plus general animal care and post-surgery support/medical rescue and fostering. I love working with animals of all kids, especially horses, dogs and cats. I am currently not working as a vet tech. Instead, I am focusing on house sitting for people with medically compromised pets that cannot leave home. I love sitting for healthy, active pets too! In my free time, I love to hike with my lab Mochi and I enjoy true crime documentaries. I offer steep discounts for Church of Pug families and friends, including a donation to Church of Pug from proceeds."
