Meet Shirley Temple.
This girl is pure charm, sweetness, and twinkle-eyed magic. She’s the kind of pup who could brighten even the chilliest winter day with her playful spirit and her heart-melting smile.
Shirley would enjoy a home with a dog friend or two to show her the ropes and who can enjoy her playful bursts of energy. Shirley is visually impaired with an early diagnosis of cataracts and dry eye. Despite her vision challenges she learned to navigate her foster home in just a few days. The outside is a little more challenging and she does best when her person is out talking to her to keep on the right path or one of her foster siblings is close by. When it comes to food Shirley takes her meals very seriously. She believes all food is her food so she eats in her crate quietly and patiently waits to be let out to confirm her foster siblings didn’t miss anything. She learned to use the dog door quietly and goes outside to do her business like a champ! She’s loving of all people and wants to be on a lap 24/7. She will steal every blanket in the house and then manage to disappear under one undetected due to her tiny size. She is energetic at times and other times happy to sleep the day away. She is goofy when she gets excited and thinks pants and sleeves are for tug of war. Her foster mom is working with her and introducing toys as an outlet instead. Whether she’s bouncing around the house, snuggling in for a movie night, or tapping your foot saying “pick me up”, she brings a constant smile to your face.
This little sweetheart is ready to find her perfect forever family, just in time to make your Christmas feel a little brighter, cozier, and more magical.
If you’re looking for a joyful, loving companion who brings pure holiday cheer wherever she goes, Shirley Temple is ready to take center stage in her new home.
