Jack and Sally came to the rescue via owner surrender. These two were underweight and under sized for their age. Church of Pug jumped in and one of our volunteers hand fed the brother and sister back to health. At first, they didn’t really seem interested in food. After a visit to the vet and some testing, it was determined that they had Giardia. After a week of antibiotics and close supervision, these little guys are turning into super Frenchie’s! They eat three times a day and have become the normal food motivated Frenchie’s that we all love.
Sally was bigger than her brother when we first got her, but now she’s just a little behind in weight. At 6.25 lbs, she is a little taller and a little longer than her bother Jack. She is a lot quieter than Jack, but she still makes those Frenchie noises than make these dogs silly. She’s a little more independent than her brother and loves to explorer the outdoors. We call it Dilly Dally Sally time when she just wanders around while everybody else is waiting to go back inside. She also loves to play with her friends but is just as happy sitting on your lap watching TV.
