I am Pongo! Bonded with my leading lady, Perdita. I am a youngster who LOVES people. Any time that my people are within reach and I want to be with them, either on their lap and leaning against them with my full body weight. I can be a bit of a nervous boy when there is a lot going on around me but seem to do just fine in a full house with cats, dogs, and kids. I am exceedingly gentle with my human foster siblings; my younger foster sister loves to kiss my soft ears and face and I just sit there soaking it in!
I am learning that food is AWESOME. My fosters have introduced wet doggy food in with my dry food to boost my weight a little and it is the best part of my day. I will softly growl and whisper bark at my foster mom until she presents my bowl in front of me. I am learning to not steal Perdita's food and to eat more slowly, sometimes when I eat too fast it makes my tummy upset.
I am still learning that outside is for potty. I have improved leaps and bounds since my foster mom brought us in and am ready to show off my newly found pee-pee poo-poo talents to my new parents.
I can't wait to give all of my sweet, gentle love to my new family!
