I've found my furever family!

Phoebe is approximately five years old and joined Church of Pug in mid-April. In early August Phoebe was finally healthy enough for her spay and dental which was a HUGE step forward in her recovery. Since then, she has been feeling like a new dog. Phoebe’s life motto is just love me and never leave me without my human or my fellow furry friend/friends.
Phoebe was referred to the eye specialist for further testing on her eyesight and has regained some of her vision. She will always have dry eye syndrome, but her tear production has increased incredibly, and you would never know she is visually impaired. Due to Phoebe's past, she will do best in a home with another furry friend to show her the ropes and keep her company. She is learning all the wonderful things that come with being in a loving home.
Besides eating, her favorite pastime is naps on the couch with her foster brother Rex and when her foster sister Pearl decides to be crazy, she joins in. She is still trying to figure out her place when things move fast. Her vision makes her cautious, but she is smart and listens to what’s going on to know when she can feel safe to join in. She does very well with low to medium energy situations. She does great with new people if they too don’t move too fast. Phoebe is a tiny little thing, and everyone wants to pick her up but that currently isn't her favorite thing. She isn't big on lap sitting but she is learning about snuggles and always wants to be right next to her person.
