Meet Percy! The Ball-Loving, Butt-Wiggling Bundle of Fun!
Hi, I’m Percy! I’m a happy, playful, lovable boy with a whole lot of personality! When I get excited, I don’t just wag my tail, I wiggle my entire back end! Life is good, and I want everyone to know it!
My biggest obsession? BALLS! Tennis balls, spiky balls, glow-in-the-dark balls, you name it, I love them all! I love playing fetch, collecting my treasures, and even hiding them in blankets so I can find them again. I’m pretty good at entertaining myself, but playing with my people is even better!
I’m a smart little guy, too! I’m potty trained, know how to use a doggy door, and sleep quietly in my kennel at night. Of course, if there’s room in your bed, I’m more than happy to snuggle up! I absolutely love affection, belly rubs, and back scratches.
I’m also a bit of a self-appointed security guard. I like to announce when people or dogs walk by, but I’m learning that not everyone needs a personal greeting from Percy! I’m a good listener, eager to please, and very treat motivated. Speaking of treats, I LOVE food, so don’t leave your dinner unattended!
My perfect forever home? I’d love someone who’s home most of the time because I can get anxious when left alone. I’m happiest when I have my people nearby. I also prefer to be the only male dog in the household, although I’m perfectly happy being out and about, going on walks, and enjoying adventures.
I do have some occasional itchiness that my vet believes is allergy related, but I’m doing well on my salmon-based food and don’t currently need any medications.
I’m a fun-loving, affectionate, goofy little guy who just wants someone to share my toys, my snuggles, and my whole-body wiggles with!
