I'm ready for my new family!

Hi, my name is Lana.
I’m a sweet Frenchie who was dumped at the shelter with a broken femoral head — the “ball” part of my hip joint — an injury most often caused by serious trauma.
Thankfully, the shelter reached out to Church of Pug, and they came for me. Because of them, I am now safe, cared for, and scheduled for surgery next week.
My foster says I am incredibly gentle and loving, despite everything I’ve endured. It’s clear my past was not kind — the burns around my neck tell a painful story — but somehow, I still trust people. I still lean in for affection. I still believe in kindness.
For the first time in a long while, I have a good feeling about this year. It feels like my life is finally beginning to change for the better.
