I'm staying with the rescue furever!

Little Jake is just the sweetest, most innocent little dog! We have been blessed to have him for more than a year now and his health is improving. He and his 14-year-old brother, Elwood, came into church of pug and his brother sadly passed almost immediately from cancer. We could tell his brother was keeping him alive with his love and care and it was shattering to him to lose him. Bless you Elwood. We worked with Jake around the clock to show him how many wonderful things were headed his way. In a few weeks span he had lost his bonded littermate brother of 14 years, his littermate sister, and his human. as well as his home. He and Elwood came in with a terrible, terrible upper respiratory infection and also giardia. We are still working on his immune system. He is still coming into his own personality and showing us more of what a gem he is every single day.
