Hi, my name is Cheetos.
I came from a puppy mill situation, and I’m still learning that the world can be a safe and gentle place. I didn’t get much love or socialization before rescue, so people can still feel a little scary to me sometimes.
But I’m trying.
Every day I make a little more progress. I watch the other dogs, I learn from my foster, and little by little I’m starting to understand what it means to be cared for. I’m not aggressive — just timid and unsure while I build confidence.
What I need most is a patient home willing to let me go at my own pace. Someone who will celebrate the small victories with me and understand that trust takes time.
Underneath the fear is a very sweet little boy who deserves the chance to finally feel safe, loved, and wanted.
