I'm ready for my new family!

Hi! I'm Cheddar Cheese! I'm a sweet, shy but friendly, 4(ish) year old, 12 pound chihuahua terrier mix. 

I'm really happy to be wherever you are, and love to quietly people-watch and lounge in the sun. I love to curl up next to you while you work, or go out to restaurants and meet new friends. I am a great snuggler, and have very good manners. I enjoy playing with my dog friends, and while I haven't gotten to play with kids yet, they look like a lot of fun! I mostly ignore the cats, but sometimes play chase with one of them when he goads me into it. 

When my person whistles I come running from wherever I am, and I do a happy twirl dance when it's dinner or treat time. I can't chew hard food because of my underbite, so soft food and small kibble are best. 

I get anxious a lot that I am doing something wrong, so I need some reassurance sometimes that everything is ok. I also get a little jealous when someone else is getting attention and I'm not, so I will squeeze in to make sure I'm not getting left out.
