I'm ready for my new family!

Sir Charles was pulled from Devore Animal Shelter just two hours before he was scheduled to be euthanized—all because he had kennel cough. A common and treatable illness, but in a crowded shelter, it became a death sentence. Sadly, his condition worsened into pneumonia, and he had no time left… until Church of Pug stepped in and said, “We believe in him.”

Thanks to them, Sir Charles received the care he needed and has since fully recovered. Now, at almost 30 pounds of sturdy, low-key sweetness, he’s preparing for the next chapter of his life.

This guy is the definition of lovable. He’s:

• Very shy at first, but once he feels comfortable he is snuggly and silly
• Potty trained 
• Loves treats, squeaky toys and going for walks
• Ignores cats and is good with other dogs and kids

We believe that deep down, Sir Charles wants to learn what it means to live his best life as a dog—to play, to trust, and to be loved.

He is so deserving of a family who will meet him where he is and help him grow.
