Buddy was found abandoned and alone in the desert, with no one stepping forward to rescue him from the very real risk of ending up in the shelter system. Thankfully, Church of Pug said yes—and now Buddy is finally on his journey toward safety, healing, and the life he deserves.
Despite whatever hardships he faced before rescue, Buddy’s spirit remains gentle and loving. He’s a cuddly, laid-back little velcro companion who simply wants to be close to his people. Buddy gets along beautifully with dogs big and small, shows respectful curiosity toward kitty friends, and absolutely loves every human he meets. He even seems to be a perfectly potty-trained gentleman.
Buddy does have a slight limp that we are currently having evaluated, but it doesn’t slow down his loving nature or his desire to be close to the people he trusts.
Now safe in rescue, Buddy is ready for a family who will cherish him, keep him safe, and give him the happy, secure life he has always deserved.
