Hi! I'm Apollo. I'm about 2 years old and came to Church of Pug after I was abandoned and left for dead in the desert with my three brothers! Thankfully, I was saved by The Forgotten Dog Rescue in California. I came to Church of Pug because the PNW is just the best for dogs like me!
I'm the most sweetest lil pup ever! My heart is to please, so if I do something you don't like, it takes just once or twice with delicate correction for me to understand and correct. I'm most at home with other pups - especially dogs my size. I do OK with bigger ones but I'm not immediately as comfortable and need a little bit more guidance.
I gets a burst of energy every night after I get put to bed and do the zoomie play before settling down. (Check out my videos! I loves playing with my friends and toys. I also love joining in on the cuddle-piles. I'm the typical pug who follows you around and doesn't like being separated from you.
Major perk alert - I'm potty trained! I also know my name now and come when called.
The big thing I'm still working to oversome is I still am uncomfortable being touched. My foster mom truly thinks I'll enjoy being petted someday soon, with time and practice.
Because of my background, I will do best in a home with other dogs where I can be part of a pack and have 4-legged role models to help me continue my growth and integration into the human world.
