Plum and Chestnut have spent their young lives side by side, tethered outside in the unforgiving heat of the California desert. They survived those days together, and now, for the first time, these two sweet souls are safe, loved, and getting to discover what life is supposed to feel like.
Despite everything they’ve been through, Plum and Chestnut are incredibly chill, gentle, and wonderful with other fur kids. They don’t ask for much — just a soft place to rest, some love and cuddles, and the comfort of knowing they are finally safe. They’ve already amazed us with how quickly they’re learning the difference between inside and outside potty time, even after spending their entire lives outdoors.
There is something incredibly special about watching these two discover the simple things they were never given the chance to know before. As they continue to learn, grow, and understand that people can be kind, we know Plum and Chestnut are going to blossom into the happy little pugs they were always meant to be.
They survived so much together. Now they get to spend the rest of their lives together knowing what safety, love, and a forever home feel like. These two deserve nothing less than their very best life from here on out.
