Meet Henry, a tiny little pug mix boy who may be a little shy when you first meet him, but underneath that cautious exterior is a sweet boy who is so ready to discover what it feels like to be loved.
Henry came to us from an at-risk shelter, where everything around him was unfamiliar and scary. Now that he's safe with Church of Pug, he's getting the chance to slow down, breathe, and start figuring out who he is.
And that's one of the most rewarding parts of rescue—watching a dog go from simply trying to cope to discovering that life can actually be wonderful.
Henry is still blossoming, and we can't wait to watch his confidence grow as he learns that hands can be gentle, homes can be safe, and people can be trusted.
He's tiny, he's adorable, and he's got so much potential waiting just beneath that shy little face.
Sometimes the greatest reward isn't just saving a dog...
