Riko is a sweet, playful pug mix boy who thought he had finally found his forever home… only to be returned for something as small as chewing his blanket in his crate.
Confused and searching for safety, Riko ended up back in a high-kill shelter, at risk all over again — not because he isn’t a good dog, but because he’s still just a young boy learning and coping the only way he knew how.
Despite the heartbreak, Riko hasn’t lost his spirit. He is affectionate, playful, and absolutely adorable — a dog who clearly just wants a place to belong.
Thankfully, Church of Pug stepped in and said yes, giving Riko the second chance he truly deserves.
Now all Riko needs is a home that will offer patience, understanding, and the love he’s been waiting for — a home that won’t give up on him.
