Truffle was on the euthanasia list at a high-kill shelter when Church of Pug stepped in and gave him the second chance he deserved. At the shelter he had been labeled “unfriendly,” but once he landed safely in foster care, his true personality came shining through.
This squat little dumpling is all heart. Truffle has proven to be gentle, affectionate, and incredibly sweet with the people around him. Once he feels safe, his soft, loving nature is impossible to miss. He enjoys being near his humans, soaking up attention, and waddling around with that classic little “land hippo” charm that makes everyone smile.
Truffle is the perfect reminder that stressful shelter environments don’t always show a dog’s true self. Outside the chaos, he’s shown everyone that he’s simply a good boy who needed a chance.
Now this adorable, little sweetheart is ready to find the forever home that will see him for who he truly is — a loving companion with a wonderful heart.
