Straight from the Riverside high-kill shelter, Luigi is one of the lucky ones who got a second chance—and he’s ready to find his forever home!

This sweet boy had a past eye injury, but it’s fully healed and doesn’t slow him down one bit. Luigi starts off shy and a little reserved, but once he feels safe, he transforms into the ultimate snuggle buddy—your personal lap fanny pack who will follow you with love!

Luigi is potty trained, not a barker, and gets along great with all other dogs, cats, kids and adults. He’s currently on a special diet and easy-to-manage meds for elevated kidney function, but don’t let that scare you—it’s all simple to maintain and hasn’t dampened his spirit in the slightest.

He’s up to date on vet care and just waiting for the right person to see the gentle, loyal heart behind his soulful eyes.
