Greetings fellow earthling.  My name is Ziggy and I’m about 1 year old.  I had a bit of a rough go of things for a bit there, but then I found CoP and they found some nice people to take me in and give me some love and stability.  I think it is pretty cool, but I’m just so excited about it that sometimes it takes me a bit to calm down. One of my owners has nicknamed me “Wigglebutt” but I’m not sure I’m fully on board with that yet.  Time will tell.  Since I’m so young, I have the urge to lift my leg in the house sometimes, but when my foster people say “no lift” I drop my leg and we go outside for a wander and a pee.  I like to wander and pee a lot.  I’ve been pretty good about not going in potty in my crate at night, but my foster people are really good about taking me out right away.  I’m not aggressive with food, but I get so excited that I want to eat all the food that is there.  This means if there are bones or chewys around, I want them all. My foster dad says I have typical Pug ADHD. My senior foster brother is not a big fan of my enthusiasm and my younger foster brother (Bowie – we were rescued together) just moves me out of the way and I’m okay with that.

I love a bit of a cuddle with some chesties (scritches on my chest) and booty scritches, but so far I’m so excited all the time I have a hard time settling down.  Once I do settle down, I snuggle in and go to sleep. I get along okay with both my rescue-mate and my old man foster brother. My old man foster brother isn't a huge fan of me because I have so much energy, but as long as I don't get too excited with my rescued brother we do okay for the most part.  I’ve never been around cats or kids, but do know that with my energy level I probably wouldn’t be a great fit for a family that has really young kids. I like to explore a lot, but would probably run a lot if I wasn’t on a leash or in a fenced yard.  A fenced yard would be awesome.  My foster dad is putting in a yard for me to run in and I can’t wait.
