Hi everyone, I was brought in from the streets of San Bernadino. I've had a hard life. I think I finally have an opportunity to find the family I have always been looking for.
I love being in my new foster home so much I went from watching the world from my kennel to refusing to be in one. I am great with the other dogs but, the I'm not sure what the cat is so I leave it alone. Yesterday I was playing with toys and the crinkle ones are my favorite. I worry they might be taken away, so I hide them in a pile in my bed. It's ok if the other dogs come get them, but I like them all together. I even took my foster mom's shirt and have it hidden so I can smell her, she pretends like she doesn't know but I think she is on to me.
The other dogs around here are calling me spunky because I run up to them, paw them and run away. Sometimes they chase me and it's really fun. I am working on my manners, like not jumping up on humans, but it's the best way to get attention so it may take a bit. I was without a human for so long, when I get petted, I get SO excited and want to nibble them so it doesn't stop. I have a special bark that sounds like a squeak, I think it's great and don't get why my foster mom smiles when I bark.
I love it when my crunchy food is mixed with cottage cheese and will gobble it all. My new foster mom says I am too thin so she's trying to make me fluffier. I also like treats and bones to chew. I'm tiny, only about 10 pounds.
I am getting spayed soon and will be ready for my forever home!
